Japanese girl band NEK! has officially launched their major label career under Pony Canyon. The group released their debut single "FLiCK" on June 10, marking their transition from independent to major label status.

The official music video for "FLiCK" is set to premiere on YouTube on June 12 at 7 PM JST. Ahead of the full release, a teaser trailer has already been shared online. The premiere coincides with fresh branding for the group—NEK! unveiled new artist photography and an updated band logo designed around the concept of members being "discovered," fitting with the single's imagery.

To celebrate the debut, NEK! is running a streaming share campaign through June 19. Fans who stream "FLiCK" on music platforms and share it on social media can claim an exclusive original image from the campaign.

The group's major label debut also includes live dates across Japan. The "NEK! MAJOR DEBUT TOUR" kicks off September 4 in Osaka at BANGBOO, followed by Nagoya's RAD SEVEN on September 5, and closes with a Tokyo show at Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE on September 23.

NEK! has been building momentum in Japan's music scene through 2025 and into 2026. The group previously released tracks addressing social themes, including commentary on appearance-based discrimination in social media culture. Their progression to a major label signals growing recognition for the emerging girl band.

The release of "FLiCK" represents a milestone moment for the group as they enter this new chapter with increased industry backing and broader promotional reach.
