Hinata Kashiwagi is heading back to face a familiar challenge on Japanese television. The solo artist will appear on Fuji TV's "Chidori's Oni Ren-Chan" on June 14, taking another shot at the show's notoriously difficult "Oni Hard Mode" karaoke segment.

The format works like this: contestants try to sing the chorus of 10 hit songs without missing a single note. Success means winning 1 million yen. The "Oni Hard Mode" is the toughest tier—only available to those who've previously achieved 10 consecutive victories. In her last appearance about a year ago, Kashiwagi managed six consecutive wins before falling short.

Kashiwagi, born in 1999, built her career as a member of Ebichu before launching her solo journey in 2023. Her 2024 album 1/24 marked her official full-length debut, followed by a nationwide tour. She's since been active as both a recording artist and performer, consistently challenging herself across different musical formats.

Also appearing on the episode is MOON CHILD's Osamu Sasaki, who will participate in the same karaoke challenge. More intriguingly, Sasaki has teased a major announcement planned during the broadcast, though details remain under wraps.

Joining them are comedian Miracle Hikaru and musician Hari Urisa, with veteran MCs Chidori and Kamaitachi returning to judge and predict outcomes. The show has become a popular destination for artists wanting to test their vocal abilities under pressure.

For Kashiwagi, this represents a chance for redemption on a stage she knows well. Whether she can finally conquer the "Oni Hard Mode" and secure that 100 million yen prize will be revealed when the episode airs.
