Japanese idol group 月に足跡を残した少女達は一体何を見たのか… has announced it will disband this October following a final live performance.

The group will hold their last one-man live on October 17, 2026, at Shinagawa The Grand Hall in Tokyo. This concert will mark the end of their activities after five years since their 2021 debut.

月に足跡を残した少女達は一体何を見たのか… (literally "Girls Who Left Footprints on the Moon: What Did They See?") was formed as part of Platinum Production's new idol project, with a concept centered around the moon. The group currently consists of five members: Aone Kotoo, Naeka Yuna, Hasaki Hono, Hayasaki Yuna, and Mina Rena. Their sister group, Terrace × Terrace, was created under the complementary concept of the sun.

The announcement includes individual comments from each member posted on the group's official website. The disbandment news comes after the group released their latest single "VOCE" earlier this year and has been performing at various idol festivals and events.

The group's fan club, called 天文台 (Observatory), continues to operate through the group's official channels. Fans interested in attending the final live performance can find ticket information through their official fanclub page.

This disbandment adds to the ongoing shifts within the Japanese idol industry, where groups regularly cycle through formation and dissolution as part of their project-based structure.
