Mrs. GREEN APPLE brought their entertainment spectacle CEREMONY back to Kアリーナ横浜 for a two-day run this week, marking the second year of the fashion-and-music fusion event. The band created the event last year as a gathering space where artists can celebrate and exchange musical and cultural ideas.

On day two of the green carpet (June 11), Mrs. GREEN APPLE arrived in costumes inspired by the Japanese folk tale Peach Boy, fitting their stated fashion theme of "Heroes' Journey." The band walked alongside fellow performers FRUITS ZIPPER, actress Mone Kamishiraishi, Nekrait Oki, Sakaguchi Ami, and K-pop group TWS, who arrived in everything from glamorous gowns to sharp suiting.

Day one's lineup included a star-studded roster: the band themselves, AI, asmi, Chō Tokimeki♡ Senden-bu, ORANGE RANGE, s**t kingz, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and MC Ayami Nakajō. The green carpet served as a photo opportunity and soundbite session for attendees.

CEREMONY has quickly become one of Japan's most anticipated entertainment events. The entire show will air on WOWOW later this summer, giving fans who can't attend a chance to catch the performances and fashion moments. The organizers have already confirmed the event will return in 2027.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE continues riding momentum from their decade-long career. The band recently marked ten years since their debut and has accumulated over 10 billion streams domestically. Their 2024 track "Lilac" has surpassed 600 million streams alone. This summer they're also launching a special collaboration with Tokyo Disney Resort—the first by a Japanese artist at the resort—and will tackle a five-dome tour starting in October.
