Penthouse and Ohashi Trio are joining forces for a concert event this summer. The two-man live show, titled "M bit Live #8 Penthouse × Ohashi Trio," takes place August 25 at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo.

Penthouse is a six-piece band built around twin lead vocalists—Shintaro Nanioka and Maho Oshima. The group came together through the Tokyo University band circle "Todai POMP" and officially started in 2019. They've built momentum steadily: after contributing a track to V6's 2020 single and gaining attention with their original song "...恋に落ちたら" in 2021, they signed with Victor Entertainment that same year. Their 2023 debut album "Balcony" and 2024 follow-up "Laundry" have solidified their presence in Japan's indie rock scene.

The M bit Live series operates under the motto "Keep living, keep finding songs you love." Launched in July 2024, the project pairs different artists in two-man format, and this August show marks the series' eighth installment. Notably, Penthouse will perform in a special lineup: four core members plus support musicians, with keyboardist Hayato Kakuno and drummer Tatsunori Hirai sitting out this particular show.

Ticket presale through eplus begins June 22 at noon. The M bit Project is also running a giveaway campaign featuring concert tickets and special merchandise—fans can enter through the project's official X account (@M_bit_Project) and Instagram for a chance to win.

This concert represents another major booking for Penthouse, who recently announced their third album "Neon Garden" and made their radio debut on All Night Nippon in June. The band continues to expand their reach while maintaining their distinctive twin-vocal sound.
