Toshl's New Album Features GLAY's HISASHI on Cover Track
Toshl announces the full tracklist for his July 1 album 'IM A SINGER VOL.4,' which includes a cover of '紅蓮の弓矢' featuring guitar work from GLAY guitarist HISASHI.

Toshl is releasing his fourth installment in the 'IM A SINGER' series on July 1, and the complete album details are now official.
'IM A SINGER VOL.4' contains 10 tracks mixing covers and original material. The standout collaboration comes on the cover of "紅蓮の弓矢," where GLAY's guitarist HISASHI contributes intense yet lyrical guitar playing to enhance the track. The album also features the current ending theme for the new Attack on Titan anime "愛をとりもどせ!!" and an original song called "煌めきは風."
Another highlight is "ブチかませ," a new collaboration between Toshl and vocaloid producer さたぱんP. The track showcases a fresh direction for the veteran artist, who described the collaboration as letting listeners experience a "newly polished" version of himself.
The standard CD edition includes all 10 songs, while the limited first-pressing edition comes with a Blu-ray featuring live acoustic performances of "煌めきは風" and "運命の閃光," a behind-the-scenes commentary segment titled "Toshl SELF LINER NOTES OF IM A SINGER VOL.4," and a music video for "ブチかませ."
The full tracklist spans anime classics like "ムーンライト伝説" and "secret base ~君がくれたもの~" alongside other recognizable songs, positioning this album as another celebration of Toshl's ability to reinterpret beloved material. For fans wanting deeper insight into the project, Young Guitar magazine's July issue—releasing June 10—will feature an exclusive interview about the album.
Toshl has been a fixture in Japanese music since the early '90s and has built significant momentum in recent years through TV appearances and cover projects. This new album continues that trajectory while bringing in high-profile collaborators like HISASHI to expand its appeal.
