Utada Hikaru's 'Pappapara Paradise' Gets Major Tower Records Push
Utada Hikaru is releasing the 7-inch vinyl 'Pappapara Paradise' on June 24, with Tower Records launching a promotional campaign featuring special booklets, posters, and a DJ event at their Shibuya location on July 1.

Utada Hikaru's upcoming 7-inch vinyl release "Pappapara Paradise" is getting the full retail treatment from Tower Records, with a multi-week promotional campaign kicking off June 23.
The campaign, called "Tower Love!" (タワラブ!), will run across all Tower Records locations and include B1 posters featuring Utada and guest artist Hiroto Kohmoto, poster giveaways, and special distribution of a limited edition booklet called "TOWER PLUS+." This special issue digs into why Kohmoto was the right choice as a featured artist and explores the connection between the single and the anime "Chibi Maruko-chan," where the track serves as the ending theme.
The 7-inch contains three versions: "Pappapara Paradise" (also the theme for Coca-Cola's Ayahon tea CM), "Pappapara Paradise featuring Hiroto Kohmoto," and an instrumental version.
Tower Records is also running a sticker campaign for customers who purchase eligible Utada releases, including remastered reissues of her UTADA-era albums "Exodus" and "This Is the One."
On July 1, Tower Records Shibuya's sixth-floor vinyl shop will host a one-time DJ performance from DJ KENTA and DJ KEKKE. This special event marks the culmination of the retail push for what's already been a busy season for the legendary artist—she recently collaborated with veteran musician Hiroto Kohmoto on this track, continuing her evolution as a recording artist.
Fans interested in catching the DJ event or grabbing campaign merchandise should visit Utada's official website or Tower Records' official site for full details and to confirm attendance information for the July 1 performance.
